How fit do I need to be? How can I get fit?

Probably one of the most frequently asked questions on our Facebook Groups.

All of our challenges, the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Scottish Three Peaks, and national Three Peaks Challenges require a similar amount of fitness, endurance and stamina from participants to successfully complete the challenges. The only real difference is the length of time that the challenge requires, and the discomfort endured between each mountain. The Yorkshire Three Peaks is over 12 hours with no intermediate trnsfers, the Scottish Three Peaks is over 18 hours with some 5 hours of transfers, and the national Three Peaks Challenge is over 24 hours with some 11 hours of minibus transport between the mountains.


The actual walking/climbing time for each challenge is around 12 hours.
