3rd & 4th September 2011: Can you get a team of 4-6 walkers and 2 drivers together to take part in this exhilerating Team Challenge? Meeting on Saturday morning in Fort William for registration and a safety briefing, collect your safety equipment including VHF radios, group shelters, team race bibs, etc., then move to the start for your first climb of the challenge - Ben Nevis, at 1344 metres above sea level...
After completing the first peak, you will drive to Wasdale in Cumbria to attempt Englands highest mountain, your second peak, Scafell Pike. The drive will take around 6 hours, and your climb should not take more than 4 hours on target. You may get to see the sun rise from the summit.
Finally onwards to the last of the Three Peaks - Snowdon. A long drive leads you to Llanberis and Pen-Y-Pass, where you attempt the final mountain in the challenge. Again, your target time is 4 hours, before arriving at the finish in Llanberis for a buffet, awards, certificates and medals.
You can secure your team's entry now with a deposit of just £149. No fundraising committment is required.
Merseyventure offer a very generous discount for companies or organisations entering more than one team. Please email for details. Checkout our Challenge & Adventure Blog to see what we've been up to..!
